Call for Art:
Artist Garden Exhibit
Art Barn invites all students, instructors, regional artists, and other friends of the Art Barn to contribute to this year’s gala fundraiser auction by submitting small works for our “Artist Garden” auction.
For the 2026 Art Barn School of Art Gala fundraiser, the event auction will include the Art Barn “Artist Garden” - a selection of small works on floral themes by regional artists. Participating artists are invited to submit one work per person; all pieces should be no more than 16 x 16” framed dimension (2D) or 16x16x16” (3D/sculptural work), and can be in any media including photography, painting, drawing, collage, pastel, ceramics, sculpture, or printmaking.
Work must be framed and wired for wall hanging (no mirror hangers) or be appropriate for tabletop or shelf display. Art Barn reserves the right to reject any work not in suitable condition for hanging/display or that does not meet the call for art criteria. Due to the fact that this is an open call we cannot guarantee that your work will be displayed at the event due to space constraints/number of entries received. Any unsold work, whether exhibited or not, will be returned to artists according to the timeline below.
As this is a fundraiser, Art Barn will retain a 50% commission on all work sold, so please price your work accordingly. The intention is to showcase a “garden” of flowers at a time of year when most plants are not yet in bloom, and to represent the many relationships between the Art Barn and our regional artist community as students, artists, and teachers.​​

Notification of unsold work: April 13-17, 2025

Payments for sold work will be mailed no later than May 12, 2026
Pickup of unsold artwork: No later than April 30, 2026 during regular office hours, 10am-4pm M-F, 10am-6pm on Wednesdays.
