Kids Clay Camp
M-F, 9:00am-12:00pm June 8-19, 2026 Ages: 6-9
Service Description
At this two-week camp, young artists can experience the world of clay with instructor Chris Hartz. Campers will learn multiple hand-building techniques to create fully functional masterpieces. Then, they will practice simple glazing methods which bring each object to life. Everyone will take home several pieces of ceramic art which they built themselves from start to finish! Students will learn new skills in an environment where their creativity is encouraged and make new friends along the way. We will also enjoy the sunshine during a picnic lunch on the Art Barn campus daily, so please plan to bring a bag lunch (no nuts please!) and water bottle. Dress in clothing appropriate for spending time outdoors and avoid shoes that cannot get muddy. Pick-up finished artwork 2-3 weeks after last day of camp. All supplies included. Ages 6-9 Once registered, additional policy forms will be sent several weeks before camp.

Cancellation Policy
Refunds are issued, minus a $25 fee, through the first class. No refunds are permitted after that time. All paperwork (What to Expect, Waiver, Pickup/Emergency Contact List, etc.) must be filled out and signed prior to the first day of camp. This can be done online or paperwork can be printed out and mailed to Art Barn. A Google Forms link will be sent to the email used to register your student.
