Service Description

Gouache is an opaque watercolor paint that can add depth and vibrance to your work whether on its own or combined with other water media. This class will cover the unique properties of this medium through demonstrations and various projects. Gouache is a fantastic medium to learn for watercolor artists or other art enthusiasts, whether just starting out or already experienced! Art Barn will provide a basic gouache palette and paper. Students should plan to bring their own brushes (a good basic set is Princeton Real Value Brush Set - 9147, White Taklon, Long Handle, Set of 4 from Blick; includes Round 6, Filbert 6, Bright 8, and Flat 12. Ages 16+
