If you are 65 or over and curious about exploring your creative side, join us for this easygoing FREE 6-week exploration of Zentangle. The Zentangle method of drawing helps with relaxation and focus, expands imagination, increases self awareness, and furthers more creativity in the mind through expression with art. Even for those who "don't think they can draw", through this simple method they can! This method is designed for mindfulness and letting go of the outside world for a brief time. Using this method instructor Lyn Czapla teaches the basic principles using the Elements of Art and builds on basic skills as the class goes further. Students will have fun learning shading, hatching, cross hatching, watercolor bleeds and color theory. All supplies included! Free bus transportation for Art Within Reach students is available through Porter County Aging and Community Services (PCACS).
