• Maximum items of artwork that can be submitted: 15

• Maximum 2D or 3D art items that can be submitted: 4 

(You can complete this with items from the small items category: ceramics (smaller size), flat files, cards, jewelry etc. (example: you submit 3 pieces of wall art; you can submit 12 additional pieces that fall under the small items category or flat files).

• All artwork must be securely labeled on the back with a 3 letter ID + the corresponding entry number from entry form and price (instructions on entry form).

• Artwork has to be original to the artist.

• We want you to sell well; consider that shoppers will be looking for gift items for the holidays.  We are looking for items that are priced to sell for gift-buying.

• When we receive more artwork then we can display, we reserve the right to decide which artwork/item will be displayed first. If you agree for the Art Barn to hold your artwork as inventory during this show; we can replace non displayed artwork for sold artwork.

• When your inventory becomes low, we will give you the opportunity to bring in additional items.

• We do encourage artists to bring in a variety of artwork in size and pricing, as well as one or two showpiece items demonstrating high end and best quality work.

• The artists will set their price for each artwork. 

• The Art Barn will receive 30% commission on each sold item.

• The artist will sign a consignment agreement with the Art Barn

• The artist will receive an itemized summary of sold artwork with a payment check not later than 1 month after closing of the exhibition.

• The Art Barn reserves the right to decline submissions.

2D artwork paintings, mixed media, photography, digital art:

• Wall artwork has to be wired to hang,  NO sawtooth hangers or hooks.

• Artists are allowed to submit 1 larger piece of wall artwork not to exceed 16x20 inches.

• All other wall artwork not larger than 16 inches on the longest side.

• Maximum 2D wall art items that can be submitted:  4

• All hanging artwork must be framed or on gallery wrapped canvas.

• Flat files (small items category) can not exceed 20 inches on the longest side including mat. Flat files have to be displayed with mat and be sealed in clear plastic bags; if you bring in a display rack please label the rack with your name.

3D/ceramics artwork:

• Maximum size 12x12x16 in. You are allowed to submit up to 4 pieces in this size. Remaining pieces maximum size 10x10x12 in.

• Free-standing pieces must be accompanied by a substantial base.

• Standing artwork like ceramics have to be flat on the bottom for secure standing/display.

 

Small items: 

Cards, flat files, fine crafts, glass art, textiles, ornaments, jewelry, woodwork, ceramics (not larger than 10x10x12) and functional items.

• All items need to be labeled either with a sticker (secure) or tagged with your 3 letter ID+corresponding number from the entry form and price (instructions on entry form).
