Learn the basics of picture framing for artists in this hands workshop with experienced artist and framer Kristina Knowski. This 4-hour workshop includes a 45-minute presentation designed for an introduction to picture framing for artists, covering choosing the right mat colors, which glazing is best for your medium, and creating a frame design that displays your work professionally and safely. From there, a short demo will be given on assembling an 11x14 frame to see how all the elements are put together. For $45, participants may purchase a framing kit to follow along via the demo to assemble their own piece of art.
