2019 Children’s Exhibit – March 16 through April 27, 2019
Each year our Children’s Exhibit is held in March to celebrate our young artists ages 5 through 18. The exhibit highlights the art made by our students throughout the previous year.
Families and friends are invited to come and view the show, which begins with an opening night party to honor each participant. 2019 opening reception is March 16, 5:00-7:00 pm with refreshments and an award for each participating artist.
Our 2018 Children’s Exhibit is sponsored by a generous donation from First Source Bank. Their sponsorship helped us format the art, host the show opening, and print a Children’s Art Calendar for 2019, which is now available for $20.
Current or former Art Barn students may bring in up to three pieces of their art and we will prepare it for hanging. Simply attach student name, age, parent name and phone number, and title of art on the back of each work. At least one piece from each artist will be chosen for the show.
Since the 1970s the Art Barn has been fulfilling its Mission Statement, developing a foundation in artistic expression for children and adults, and nurturing their love of art in a unique, rural environment. We provide a safe, caring, non competitive place for children to learn self expression and appreciation of art through various media and events.
