Children's Art Camp, 2020 Dates

Elements
June 15-19 Weekdays, 9am-2pm
$149/week, Ages 5-10
With instructor Sharon Angelina, students learn how to use the five elements of nature: earth, water, fire, air and space to create art projects. Students will learn to use natural elements found on our 69 acres of property while they create unique works of art to bring home. Please bring a packed lunch.

Wild Crafting
Weekdays, 9am-2pm, $149/week Ages 11-16
Session 1: June 22-26
Session 2: July 27-31
“Wildcrafting” involves gathering materials from the land that you will use for various purposes. Instructor Sharon Angelina teaches her students about the local plants and materials found on our 69 acres and how to create beautiful and useful items from the land. Students spend time outdoors making art together in this camp. Please bring a packed lunch.

Dragons and Unicorns
July 6-10 Weekdays, 9am-2pm, $149/week Ages 5-10
Alice Dickey teaches students to explore the fun and fantasy of creating various art projects around this exciting theme. Students will create their own world filled with these extraordinary mythical creatures and even build their own castle! They will learn useful skills and techniques while expanding their imagination. Art show and ice cream party held on the last day of camp. Please bring a packed lunch.

Architecture Camp
Weekdays, 9am-12:30pm, $135/week, Ages 12-17
July 13-17
Instructor: Mindy Milan
Students will have fun designing and building their own dream suite. Experienced teacher Mindy Milan has developed a condensed version of her architecture course for this summer camp. Students will learn basic architecture skills including drafting, section drawing and model construction techniques. Great class for the experimenter, lego-lover and future engineer/architect/designer.

Kids Clay Camp
Weekdays, 9am-12pm, $229/2 weeks, Ages 5-9
July 13-24
Instructor: Samantha Purze
Back by popular demand! During this two-week camp, children will learn how to build a coil pot with or without a lid, pinch pot planters, and their own ceramic tiles with unique surface decorations. At the end of the workshop each child will go home with at least 3 ceramic works which they made themselves from start to finish. Not only do the kids pick up a new hobby, learn a multitude of hand skills, and work on problem solving, they are also welcomed into an environment where their creativity is encouraged, and they usually make new friends along the way. Please bring a packed lunch.

Clay Camp
Weekdays, 1pm-4pm, $229/2 weeks, Ages 10-16

Weekdays, 9am-12pm, $149/1 week, Ages 18 and below

Instructor: Melina Stock
Instructor Melina Stock brings her art therapy experience to this camp specifically designed for children with special needs. Students will use various art materials to express themselves in a fun and accepting environment. Students of all ages and abilities encouraged to sign up for this camp.
